Historic Road Tax
Happy days, my two in Historic taxation class from today. I was pleasantly surprised that my local Post Office knew exactly what was needed and I've saved the best part of £500 each year. Might have a run out to celebrate.

Been down the P.0. this morning expecting them to say " computer says no "
The forms i filled in were also shoved back at me

She just sent off the V5 , Job done -
Noo was in for mot this morning and passed, I then went to the post office log book changed to historic and sent to DVLA free road tax on its return

Steve, They should have given you a receipt at the Post Office for a zero payment to show NOO is taxed. There should be no reason for you to have to wait for the log book to be returned.
