What Happened to all our Cars

Dont have photos of every thing but this was one of my early car 1300 L which in the 70s was tried to bring to GT spec




Think this is long dead but always liked the reg number UFU 116H

Again no photos bur this was my first MK2 ... Was a 1100 Popular but at the time managed to get a MK2 RS1800 that was fire damaged and fit all the best bits



Had reasonable success in this in the MN championsip in the early 80s but again expect its long dead.

Had a few other car ,,,always Escorts ,,, but eventually got married as you do and families took prefrence over motorsport

Then one day went to a show at the Heaves Hotel and the spark was re kindeled

Went out and bought this

This car was fitted with a 2.0 liter Zetec and as most know went on to be this





And ultimatly this

So at this stage I was Escort less

So bought this as a stop gap





Very nice 4 door with 2,0 liter pinto,

Next in line I decided to go MK2 and bought a very nice 1600 Sport Replice






Think this car went to the Chester area when I sold it

At some stage I bought a MK2 RS2000 but circumstances were I dident have this long

Difficult the remember dates now ,,, but picked up a nice MK1 to play around with

Think the next one was a MK 1 RS2000 which I reshelled into a 1300 Sport and duely reg it as a 1300 Sport





Nice car this ,,,wish I still had it ,,,went to a chap in Ireland

Sale of the MK1 funded a MK2 again ,,again nice car but lost minterest in this as the engine was full race and a pig to drive normally

So here we go and start again ,,,,Built the car I loved since I was a lad ....very long time ago
