RSOC Big Meeting?

Well looks like I have upset one of the shadow keyboard hero's on the RSOC forum, thread running half an hour then reported, and removed......but they were kind enuff to tell me they had done it....lol.
I think the thread was opening up regarding wtf is going on and the rumours of registrars leaving - I only asked why nobody was responding to pm's or email, and what has happened to the "official" RSOC Photographer........
Apparently the reason my thread was deleted was due to being reported and that it may go back up once a "big RSOC Committe Meeting" has taken place - supposedly over 2 days!

Anyone heard anything on this?

Yet another one of my posts regarding the unannounced yet months old chairmans resignation that didn't last ten minutes lol

Daz there's a committee meeting going on this weekend which is why I said not to expect an answer, although it's strange how you don't get an answer yet "someone" can report your thread.

I wouldn't hold my breath expecting it to be put back up after the meeting either lol.

I just don't understand why they can't practice what they preach and be open and honest

Well posted another thread at 11.15pm and got up this morning to a message saying that too had been deleted due to turning into a club haters thread??
On a positive note I have been told that maybe my original thread could be put back up after censoring as it did raise some valid points......lol

That's just it though daz, it wasn't a club haters thread.
That's just a pi55 poor excuse to remove it so the members don't see what goes on behind the scenes.

All I asked for was either the rumour of resignations to nipped in the bud or confirmed so people can move on... How can people read into that that I hate the club????

Thats just bollocks I'm afraid lol, no doubt those same people will say that it's not in the spirit of the club...and hiding things and lying to the members obviously must be

Makes my **** fizz m8 - I think the agm should be attended mob handed and a vote of no confidence put forward and have a full scale clean out - obviously there will be some that would remain as they all can't be bad eggs......or can they??

Keep hearing out with the old and in with the new, never in all my time when I was a member of the RSOC have seen so much turmoil and distrust.

Laughable really so many good people have now left been banned or thinking of not returning, how long is this to continue before they wake up, smell the coffee and rethink how they go about things as it is pretty obvious to me something needs to change.

So much experience in the RSOC has been shat on from a height and tossed aside without as much as thanks or kiss my backside its mind numbing

Absolutely gutted all the time and effort me and others have done over the past 15 or so years has been ripped up and thrown in the bin for the greater good, makes me really sad.

My ban for having a tongue in cheek moment on Facebook is up next month, will be interesting to see if I apply they accept my application.

I have no doubt there will be people out there who would step up to the plate and sort it out but it will take more than a handful of people to do this.

As some of you may be aware our Chairman advised the committee prior to National Day that his intentions would be to stand down after our event back in August, to ensure we could generate as seemless a transition as possible it was decided to delay the discussion and appointment of his predisesor until we next met.

Having had two very constructive days this weekend discussing various issues of which Nicks resignation was a key discussion point the committee are pleased to announce that Paul Bury will be taking over the vacant chair with immediate effect.

Nick will be on hand to advise and will continue to support the committee where possible.

We would like to pass on our thanks to Nick for his leadership over the past 12 months during some tough times and the enthusiasim he brought to the role.

I'm sure you'll all join us in thanking Nick as well as welcoming Paul to his new position.

The committee has great confidence that Paul will lead the club in a great direction with the wealth of knowledge and skills he will bring to the roll.

It was felt that to ensure the new chair person was up to speed and able to chair our meeting in February as well as other key discussions leading into the new year that timing was crucial.

2017 we're sure will be a great year and as always we thank you the membership in advance for your continued support.*

Almost given up with it now. the past "Few" years have been frustrating & downright out of order at times. Banning's for no "Real" reason, A seriously crap Chairman (Jerry) Another chairman that did nothing, backstabbing, The "New" Committee (Biggest farce ever..........) Out with the "Old" Committee (So much experience..........) & it went on, & on
would love the club to return to the "Fun Days" but can't really see it happening at the mo.
I really hope Paul Bury will do a good job as the new Chairman.
