SORRY FOR ALL THESE QUESTIONS BUT CARS IVE SEEN LATELY HAVE BEEN RESHELLED .I GET UNDER THEM OR LOOK UNDER DASH OR INSIDE OF REAR QUARTERS AND THERE MET BLUE OR GOLD LOL.WHAT DO YOU THINK A ROAD GOING CLEAN RS2000 MK2 IS WORTH IF RESHELLED?

jay if its done to the original spec then i cant personally see a prob, all ford did was take a shell off the main line and stick some bits on and hey presto.
if it keeps another one on the road then so be it, the only time it would be a prob is if you sold it and didnt tell the new owner.
there will always be arguments ofr and against but these are my personal ones - if its a nice solid clean car then go for it m8

Personally, i think there is a difference, the margue has to retain credibility and the only way this can continue is by original examples, its a tough one, you could argue about this one all day and all night, however its about personal opinions, and thats mine, would only ever want a genuine car,

I think if your not a fussy person & the shell is very clean with rs spec well then take it.......as its being said previously that if it was to be sold on tell the new owner its a non-genuine RS......There are plenty of rally cars out there that the owner would say its a genuine RS & who's to say its not its just buyer be ware.....so did you find a car for your £3k then?????

theres a few people around that I know have non original shells for supposed really original RS's , but obviously they are not telling anyone

if its good and been done well, at the end of the day they are all MK2 shells with a few bits added ? so really does it matter now
