Hello,this is an observation looking at the pics from Friday night and Saturday,do a lot of people hang around for the RSOC day or leave on the sunday morning,I watched the drone footage and couldn't make out many
mk1`s or mk2`s,just lines of RS Focus`s.

Then beer and sleeping bag saturdays "tour" hangin onto the wheel in the mk2 the celebrations that follow the return to heaves and then sleeping bag and bed i was ready to leave by midday but as the weather was that good stayed till 1.45 then 3 hrs home ... was a great weekend

Like I say it was just an observation,we have been threatening to attend the event,but I don't want to look at a sea of new RS`s,if a lot of the old skool motors had gone,i know the answer is to attend from Friday,but that can be awkward for some of my mates,regards Gixer1000.

The drone I saw was a lot closer to the Hotel, so more footage may be revealed

The weekend starts Friday, tour Saturday followed by awards and raffle (Oggie MC is worth going to alone for entertainment value)

Sunday as said is RS Cumbria day, with lots more going on including traders and concours to name a couple (not forgetting the plastic fraternity out in force)

As this years celebration was 40 years of the MK2 RS2000 they out numbered the MK1, however I would say the latter make up at least a third of the total.

That's a fair bit away, maybe they dont have any public liability insurance.
There is better drone footage from a different drone but it's not released yet, it will be worth the wait.

That drone footage was obviously taken around 2pm or after. A lot of MK1's & MK'2s had left at that stage. In that video there are less than half the RS2000's that were parked up in the display.
