I understand that there were around 2300 mk2 mexico's produced and wondered if there is any idea how many genuine ones still exist? I have looked on the "how many left" website but that seems ridiculously low and that does not include laid up cars does it! I guess I could start on the mk2 mex gallery, fair few on there! cheers.

The "how many left" website will also not include the ones which were registered as Escort 1600, Escort 1593 etc.
You would expect "RS" Dealers to get the first registration form correct but that's not always the case.
