Did the lakes tour last year and borrowed a $hitty little tent single skin thing for her an me , was ok friday but crepe saturday when we had a bit of rain at 2am . We have a m,home and did think of loaning a trailer and kippin in that but bit the bullet and bought a better tent so you could say we were "intent"on camping haha , has everyone else got a list of small jobs to complete before the tour weekend? , jim

Small job!

I have Jim.

Took car out last Sunday for it's first run. All went well till i pulled up on the drive and thought the clutch pedal wasn't quite right.
Turns out the centre push clutch is leaking clutch fluid. Took the inspection plate of on the bell housing and both pipes are tight so gearbox will have to come out.
Just got in from the garage now having got the car up on sill stands, removed the sump guard, taken the prop shaft off and the bell housing bolts so gearbox is ready to take out on Saturday.
On the up side it shouldn't be difficult to fix and at least it didn't happen 5 miles into the Tour!

we've got guest house booked, I'm still trying to finish my car, hoping to have ready for next weekend, get a few miles on it ,
