Hoping to get over and see a round this year, whats the best round to see for Escorts?.. Mainly modified i would like to see, but with as many Escorts as possible, thanks

The Donegal Rally without a doubt is a must see event, It really is the jewel in the Irish Rally Calendar

This year it is taking place on June 17 - 19th with the rally headquarter in Letterkenny

How to get there ?
Try and get flights into Belfast (Approx 1hr 45min drive) or Derry (Approx 35min drive)

The quality of stages, quality of the entry and the social side each night in Letterkenny is unforgetable

You could also try the Carlow rally which holds the mk2 challenge all top escort men enter and its a one day event on a sunday

Molls gap is in Killarney, used on both the International (w/e 29 Apr 2016) and the Historic Rally (w/e 3 Dec 2016)

to be honest most of the irish mk2 rallying scene is something else , I,m lucky enough to live in Donegal and I definately think the Donegal international is the jewel in the irish rallying calendar, the modified entry alone in this is something to see in itself. its three days of full attack on the limit rallying!!!!

yea if u are coming in the camper van its best to be there the nite before as access in the morning will be limited . roads closed for rally traffic etc. portsalon / knockalla stage would be a good base on the Saturday for ya knockalla stage is a must see!! if ya need any other info just ask and I,ll do my best..
