Hi all wetandwindy2's son here, was looking at number plate decoders, abit confused as to how it works. if you want to find out the area the car was sold in do you go by the first two letters or the 2nd and 3rd letters of the number plate. thanks in advance (please tell me if in the wrong section)

See if you find an old AA handbook from the 1960 or '70's - It has them all in !

          Hi young wetandwindy,
There is a thread on the Scottish old Skool escort site that gives number plate decoder info..
          Cheers

          Steve.

                  Did you find it?
regarchive.com will give you the county the car was first registered in
