Thank you for clarifying that John, so that area is full of suspension boxes and axle boxes. Just seems like the seat X/Member fitted to the shell seems a bit of a funny thing/afterthought. Some people will be up at night wondering how far the black overspray should go into the floor pans

I think if you can build a car and get it reg'd as Q plate and if these shells are of good quality and we see more Mk2 Escorts about that's not a bad thing is it. The only point is it puts pressure on the next parts like window winders,clocks,wiper linkage and motors etc !!!!
