My car has a zetec and currently sits out in L A. The stunt cars were all totally destroyed under strict orders from the film company so I very much doubt if this is an engine from one of those cars. If it is then some one could end up in deep shit

Terms of the salvage contract were that nothing was to be saved so as scrap men won't profit from the items used in the film. I some parts were tucked away for resale then this is breach of contract and may result in legal action against the seller

This is facts straight from the people who bought the cars

At the time we bid on the parts from the 3 mk1's that were scrapped....come on !! your not going to crush all them parts......and the mk1's were rubbish compared to the rest of the cars in the film that were raced/broken./scrapped !!!!!!!!

I must say i'll very surprised the engines are on ebay...

I live in Californa about 100 miles away from the studios. I also own a MK1 escort. I have been checking for MK1 escort parts in the US for over 8 years.
While i can some times find the odd part here or there, None of the film cars or car parts have ever appeared on e-bay craigslist or any other auto forum over here.
If they had been I would be all over them
