    Ford Mondeo , Drive it on average 40,000 miles per anum ..£30 Tax

    Ford Escort, Drive occational weekends under 500 mile per anum ,, £280 Tax

    That's the bit that gets me. And now they say road tax must be increased dramatically to counter the massive shortfall due to modern cars being ridiculously cheap- or free. Wish they'd devise a fairer system- or just abolish it altogether and put it on fuel

          I just wish the plebs would make there minds up. Cany see this free tax for low emmision cars lasting long
