Could not agree more, the other half has a 2nd Generation Forester X/T for about 4 years apart from servicing its not needed much. It's carried rubbish/scrap metal (was on its arse for that one)/Greyhounds and their beds/bags of horse feed. It even handles fairly well and while it likes a drink it sounds much better than a diesel.

Dunno why Subaru lost the plot started making Foresters like every other SUV/4x4
