If you want to see a good Irish rally you will
be looking at around the 1st of may, rally
of the Lakes in Killarney (the south of Ireland),
its one of the most important rallys in the Irish calendar.
It is also one of the most spectated rallys. You would want to
book early to get a room deffo this side of christmas
Loads for the kids to do horse draw carrige's and stuff,Loads of
shopping for the misses
cheers :thumbleft:
yes Tim that is true but the
weather is always cr@p for that
cause its on in november I think
I suppose it depends on what you
are looking for car wise.
How true you are Tim
was at the that rally last year
and the amount of "BIG" money
escorts that were their is frighting
not all escorts though good varity of
cars
i have just come back from my hols to find a letter from continental car tours, annoucing the 2006 classic ford car tour is in fact...... to southern ireland!! details as follows:-
friday 5th may @ 10.30 ferry from fishgaurd to rosslare, three nights in a killarney hotel ( dinner included ). saturday 6th is a tour south to the healey pass, and a drive to clonakilty. sunday is a drive to connor pass and the dingle peninsular. monday is home, with a ferry for 1330 to fishgaurd.
the all inclusive price is £269 pp based on two people per car
im sure any irish guys who fancy it can negotiate a deal minus the ferry costs!!
continental car tours are taking deposits NOW! of £100 per couple
i cannot reccomend what continental car tours enough, even though i have only done one of their trips, i shall however be booking this one asap, as each year more and more people go on these things, it is sure to sell out fast, kids are no probs, plenty went last year and loved it!
