So following redundancy threat of deportation and a cold only a women could shake off, I feel the best thing to do is pack the escort, load up the tent and enjoy the ultimate tonic, the lakes tour!!

Problem being is I'm in Australia... So I'm off fishing on Saturday, I will be ringing chea though to abuse a few off you..

Rob, are you serious about redundancy?
I know two lads just back from WA, they had been working in one of the iron ore mines , heavy plant fitters .
Luckily they got their jobs back with cat leverton in Leeds .
They had been layed off too.

Were they working on an fmg mine by any chance? ( I was at cloudbreak for them) I'm a heavy diesel fitter and luckyily enough heading to a nickle mine instead..

Yes, that's the one. I used to be a heavy plant fitter & did consider moving to oz back in the late 90,s . Ex wife wouldn't at the time.

I did wonder why the two lads didn't find other jobs & stay in oz. ?

Is the economy. Slowing down?

I'm just back from lakes ,, brill wk end & crack..
