Barn Find Cooper S

Hi thought i would share what i have just collected today,

it was in a Garage not 2 miles from my house

1968 Cooper S Mk11 1275 2 owners from new the guy i bought it from bought it in 1972 and drove it until 1980 when he put it in his garage not to be used again

all matching numbers and im told quite rare in original black

note the towbar as he use to tow a little trailer with it

Now been moved to my garage so will post more photos up soon

Yes it certainly was. Still has the road rally parts fitted. Car has only been cleaned and got it running etc.

no this one is still there, but someone found it before me.a mate who has a mk3 cooper found a metro turbo the other week ,off the road for about 15 years.no interest in them myself but getting popular now.always cars out there to find.

A great find, I would love a proper mini! Black was a very rare colour in it's time, it became more popular in the mid 70's >.

I had a '68 - FUR 155G great little car. Yours just needs a good mop over - will do wonders and a few details to sort - Good honest un-restored classic. Now if you could find me a 1071 'S' we'd be buds for life!
