Whats the cheapest so far, I'm out in the sticks a little, but we've got 1.21 reg un-leaded ATM. Funny how airline ticket prices aren't budging much, they must be raking it in

By the way, I was informed today my mate got $1.81 a gallon in Tulsa, USA, roughly equates to about 25p a litre

£1.17 for diesel at my local Asda, I think petrol was something like £1.11

99p on it's way, should be here already @$50 a barrel.

The oil price is stabilising, so don't expect prices to dip much further

On the other hand, if you work on the rigs it's brown pants time, as many operators are apparently laying off staff and bringing forward the decommissioning of some fields/rigs…

It's nice that the cost is finally coming down to earth again though, after the markets have been earning an absolute fortune at our expense…

Barely any UK operators in the north sea now, if the government get greedy with tax then these smaller company's will just slow production to tick over until they get a deal then open it up again. It's all a big game!!!! We are drilling wells that they have no intention producing until it's worth it. It's been down there for millions of years so no harm in them waiting until it's worth there while.
Sounds kind of like the Escort price scale come to think of it.
