  • Brand new North Wales Classic Fords forum

    Dear all....

For those of you who are members of our original forum as well as Facebook, you will be aware that following its takeover by a company called Yuku, we have suffered problems with users being able to log on amongst other things. This came as an unexpected challenge after building the forum up over the past 8 years.

We have been busy this year building the new replacement platform for its continued use. It really is as easy as Facebook to use, has a smartphone app called Tapatalk, wherby you can upload photos to threads instantly amongst many other great features such as ''likes'' and ''thumb down''

It is more personal than Facebook and is easier to follow ongoing threads unlike on Facebook where it is difficult to find old topics. It is user friendly, easy for admin staff and is again free.

This is the main platform that will be used for lists of shows throughout the show season and the place to be to secure a place at the shows stands and runs out etc etc.

Please feel free to join and contribute. It will be launched Sunday 7th December

The addreess to go to is NWCF.freeforums.net

See you all on there soon ;-)

    Regards

    Aled and Dave

About time you got rid of YUKU

Their e-mails were riddled with spam and dodgy links

Beware of free hosting though as they let you build up a busy site then swamp it with spam and adverts

Paid and secure hosting is much better

Sorry Dave, it may have read that I was comparing our 'free' forum to this one you have to pay for. That wasn't the case. The point being made was to our members to reiterate that there was no charge for most of the service they get as opposed to a paid club.

Thanks for the feedback re the free forums. We are unlikely to be a really busy site like yours, so hopefully we will be left alone from spam !

Thanks for allowing me to promote
