Trust me folks , slide throttle is always slower than butterflies .
Stroked engines are slower reving unless you re-address the rod ratio . This is done on mine by using longer rods , shorter pistons and also increasing the block height (alloy motorsport blocks are taller than iron pinto blocks).
This means a 2.7 is still a fast pick up and not lazy . I will demonstrate this with a tyre smoking full weight street legal low 11sec 1/4 mile later .
