    Couple of pics of my new engine under construction just for all the engine lovers out there .
    New 2.7 litre all alloy screamer coming to a High St near you soon and frying the 175's in 4th , lol .

      Tall alloy block with 96mm bore/liners . Might decided to go for the 97.2mm liners instead as then it will be touching 2.8 litres . So that's 300cc more than the rally cars are allowed .

        I'll do a proper car build thread in the resto section later but basically it will be the same simple "comfy" road car set up as before but with the new engine and a BMW gearbox conversion fitted inside . No silly big wheels etc as that's not how i roll .
        It should be alot faster than before so let the haters hate !!!! ha ha

            Cheers Stan , it's already mental with the little engine inside so can't wait to plant it with an extra 100bhp on top . Should be lively .

                They retail about £25,000 normally but mine's alot cheaper as i got the block and crank very cheap (alot less than 1/2 price) and i've swopped a mk1 Cortina i bought years ago for tons of bits i need . Also Mr Mitchell is a top bloke and doesn't take the **** with his prices so that also helps alot with the build cost . Most other tuners charge mega bucks for taking a cam over off !!! ha ha

                    There's a few big cc Alloy blocked 16v Pintos coming out onto the streets soon . Here's Mark Devine's 2.5 mk2 , his should be out this spring so can't wait for a test drive with the old fella .

                            Andy i'll be selling my 2 litre engine and all the bits bolted to it after the Classic Ford show next year . Get saving and will fit it all in yours next summer (engine with dry sump , Jenvey throttle bodies with injection , exhaust manifold , etc) and it goes like fooooooook . BAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRP .
