Thanks for all the above, We are pleased to announce that we will be having a meeting on the 19th or the 20th March to discuss National Day and members concerns, benefits etc, full details will be published on a separate thread after AGM.

Would you be happy and full of love for the club if some of the people in charge lied and insinuated you were a thief?

Mike it seems that a lot of people have now admitted that no money was ever nicked despite the deliberate miscommunication by two people that also carried on with that miscommunication in front of a full Agm, that's the committee the registrars and a room full of members of the club.

One person was hung out to dry by those two people and confidential committee information was also allowed to be leaked which was then twisted and posted on the board to discredit said one person.
Dave may have over reacted in some people's opinions but when you're put through what he's been put through and those people that know the truth decide to bury their heads rather than put their hands up and admit their failings then and only then will I judge some body's behaviour.

There were no rules or code of conduct in place at the time so where's the bench mark to judge somebody's actions.

His conduct has been an awful lot more dignified than some notable people within the club and yet he's the one that's been banned.....

Slight difference being removed from your committee position, labeled as a thief have all your 'friends ' turn against you....All down to a few people in positions of 'power' ....telling lies about it all...

To that set of circumstances...what was daves 'immature ' response?

Lol comparing the clubs dealings with a couple of five year olds is probably a good comparison, that said wouldnt it be really good fun for a couple of five year old kids to play at car clubs, one pretend to be a chairman and the other pretend to be a treasurer and they can then pretend to tell lies to a room of 100 pretend people just to save themselves some embarresment then carry on as car club directors til the truth starts to emerge. They could also pretend to lie to their colleagues for a year or so to get one man hung out to dry, how funny would that be, even more so if those two young scamps used their positions of influence over their pretend car club friends round the kitchen table to label the nasty one a thief as well for 12 months. It would be so funny.

Then just as a joke ban that nasty one and his pretend friends from their pretend car club to quieten down any protests, at least then they can still be members of their pretend car club and pretend to play happily.

when those two young scamps eventually got caught and found out they recieved no further punishment from the head teachers though and the youg whipper snapper that told tales on the school website will not get detention either, but the poor little 5 year old sod that has had his pants pulled down in the school yard for everone to point at and laugh at for a year eventually got to the point where he got so frustrated he started swearing at those laughing at him and as such stayed on his punishment for a further 6 months.

luckily after those six months he'll be ok and fine to organise school sports day for the whole school in the summer, so that should work out quite well for all concerned


and in the meantime he's had his prefects badge taken off him as well
