Have a mk2 1600 sport and it's going to be resprayed back to original white

Now my problem is the "1600 sport" on the rear quarter I think looks naff where as the "Mexico" in my eyes looks a lot better would it be sacrilege to badge it as a Mexico with it being a 1600 sport?
Am I going to get the haters "oh it not even a real Mexico"

I am of the "sticker it as it should be" brigade. Be proud that it's a 1600 sport. Why try to make it look like something it is not?

I always liked the idea of using the mexico script but using the word sport instead of 1600/1300 sport, but as a few people have said shes your baby do what you want with her

Do it the way you want it ......what ever you do some one will always pick fault ...if it's done the way you want it ....it's very easy to ignore the fault finders as they really don't matter.

Badge it up as a Mexico and you are only kidding yourself and everyone else that it is something that it is not! No good trying to be cool either, like the colour coded mirrors everyone tried in the 80's, all that stuff will be out of date before you know it!

Sports are rarer now as folk say do what your happy with... The trim and crossflow make it easy to re sticker to a sport if you sell it
