P I S S P O R T office,what a joke!!!!..

Morning guys,has/is anyone having problems with the passport office?,well my daughters first passport hasn't arrived yet,she goes on holiday on 13 July,this Sunday and still no passport!!!,it was sent on the 4th June,I paid for the post office check service and they told me that a child's passport takes 3 weeks,but I still haven't received it yet,I've been on to them all last week and every day this week,all I get is someone will get back to you and do a fast track service,but still no one has come back to me yet I spoke again to someone last night,I've even put in a complaint about how "s h I t e " their service has been,but all I get is someone will ring you tomorrow to sort it out but it's 9am,still not heard anything,I'm not holding my breath,I'm getting really p I s s e d off now,I've even wrote to my local MP for help and advice,all I can do now is sit and wait,has anyone else had any problems with the p I s s p o r t office??.or can anyone give us some advice...thanks foxy.

^^ that doesn't look good! ... must be the governments way of keeping people in the UK for a wet British holiday!

My local MP has just been in touch with us,fingers crossed!!!.

I made applications for renewal of two current passports on 15 MAY and finally received them yesterday!

Applied for my passport 4 weeks ago it was delivered sunday by taxi was panicking as we go away in 2 weeks

This is the story of a lot of public sector bodies, my sister had the same problem where someone signed for her passport and she never received it, when she contacted the passport office they said (more or less) "tough you'll have to pay the same again if you want a passport (their negligence), complain if you like but you won't get anywhere" No acountability, bloody civil servants...
