Was chatting to a chap today who knows of a reputed brown RS1800

He says that it was owned by price Michal of Kent and was a one off build by ford for him

All paper work is present to substanciate the claim of this brown escort complete with brown vynal roof

fact or fiction ??

If it's who I think it is the car is just outside Carlisle and is a MK1 RS1600 in Tawny Brown (previously owned by Prince Michael of Kent) that had a major rear quarter shunt a few years ago.

Yes defo browm mk1 rs1600 . Was a bit of a wreck even in the early 1990's but must have been reshelled/restored by now . I had a brown mk1 rs1600 as well so always looked out for them .

I must admit it as some time ago but have just had a reply, his Royal Highness said he only had a RS1600 and gave the registration WOO and thanked me for the enquiry.

I never seen the car ,,,, Its what I was told by a work colleague ,,,, I t seems either he does not know the difference between a MK1 and a MK2 of the information he gave me was not accurate
