  • Quiz Sunday Night C4

    Dear All,

Just a bit of fun if fancy joining in. The Channel 4 "For the love of cars" is selling all six cars off this Sunday night @ 8pm after 6 episodes. I am guessing the sale price of all of the cars individually and totalling them up at the end to see how far out I was.

    1, Mk1 Mexico (Harris Engine) £27'000.
    2, Mk1 Landrover £21'000.
    3, Triumph Stag £16'000.
4, MK1 Mini Cooper (Forgot the special engine) £22'000.
    5, MG TC £38'000.
    6, DeLorean £42'000.

    My Total £166'000

    Good luck, sadly no prizes!!

    Best Regards
    Phill

                Results for the TV Show

                Mexico £20'000
                Landrover £35'000
                Mini £21'000
                Stag £15'000
                MG TC £24'000
                Delorean £40'000

                Total £156'000

Well done to those who were close. I was 10k over, just a bit of fun.

That Mexico seemed a bit cheap to me, and so did the Mini!

                Good show for a change.

                Best Regards

This should be the link to the real prices .It is possible that there is a buyers premium on the auction price which might not have been mentioned , but as with most television programs , never believe what they say .
They did actually admit that , if you add in the labour costs , every car lost a lot more money than it made .
