Certainly is an issue that needs confirming one way or the other to save a lot of wasted journeys
I have just had it confirmed from Carol at Hatton World that raised BBQ's ONLY are allowed and that a fire extinguisher must be near the area of the BBQ

SORTED !
The Commitee of the AVO club also have no problem with BBQs as Hatton set the rules
but as Dave says please use raised ones so not to burn the grass
The AVO club has confirmed the position regarding the use of barbecues at Hatton World and are happy to confirm the following;
1. Barbecues must be the standing type and not set on the ground.
2. Barbecues can only be used in the designated camping area.
3. Campers using barbecues are required by Hatton to have an appropriate fire
extinguisher close by.
We would like to point out that the camping facility is provided by Hatton World direct and therefore Hatton will advise where campers should pitch when they arrive. The AVO club have agreed to collect the money for camping on behalf of Hatton World but the money collected will go directly to Hatton.
