Went to see Stiff Little Fingers the other night............Oh Dear, How can such a legend of a band play so crappily. Too Slow! They need to consume more drugs..........he he.

Was a good kit. Used to have an endorsement deal With Pearl Drums and Zildjian Cymbals. Tis a custom made BLX with oversize shells. Sounds the nuts when beaten hard............. Kept at work at the mo as I've retired from playing.

My mate has a SLF tribute band (believed to be the only one in the UK so he tells me anyways) and has organised a few SLF concerts himself The Wickerman festival, Kilmarnock and Irvine this year as well I believe but I have to agree with Frosticles that The fingers seem to be slowing up their music is not just as fast as it used to be but they still rock

Ah, the Wicker Man Festival. Wanted to go there a few times but not had the chance. My old band Helvis were due to play there about 3 years ago but we had to pull out as our guitarist broke his finger fighting Big fan of the film

Th Undertones played Rock City a while back. Didn't go myself but my brother-in-law said they were good. Only really liked a couple of their songs though. Fell out with them after "My Perfect Cousin" (for obvious reasons)

I have heard of the Varukers but not Helvis until now :bom: looks like you had some success with your bands Kev.

Do you have no plans for the future, the band I'm in has just started out we do covers and our own stuff got a few gigs lined up though.

I have seen Straw Dogs but The Undertones never realy done it for me, bands are never the same after the lead singer quits IMO

Hi there Gows. No plans at the moment. Varukers were very successful (and still are) Travelled all round the world a few times. Helvis did a full length CD and travelled a bit. (Singer's now in Raging Speedhorn). I retired cause my wife fell pregnant and I didn't want to tour anymore. (Was away for 7 months of the year)
Agree about bands who's singers have left, never the same. Do you have any samples of your band?? would like to hear them if you do.
