          yes i would keep the vynil gaz,but i think that the webastos are over a grand to get done now

            no they are not!! tudor webasto in london do them for about £700 fitted, then there is the option of fitting a second hand one! i was quoted £150-£200 to fit a roof, but first you need to source one, then maybe get it re-upholstered? worth a look GAZ

              lee do you have a number for them as my wind deflector is cracked.a mate told me he was quoted £1400 for a new one in a mgb gt

                        Keep the vinyl !!

                        The MK2 suits a vinyl, especially on a white car. I would lose the sunroof as they look terrible. I am removing mine and plating or sectioning and then a new vinyl. Webasto is an option but not a fan myself ! :albino:

                                My car had an original bvr and a retro fit pop-up sunroof. The sun roof has been plated using a donor roof and it's all sprayed up again and you would be hard pushed to spot it.
                                That said, I am putting a new vinyl roof back because the car always had one and I reckon they look the biz.
                                Base colour is white too.
