Rally sprint today on the iconic roads in the foothills around Athens, running through a national park. Not used for 10 years due to complaints from locals, ecologists, hunters etc. One of the best tarmac stages in Europe and over 10 miles long.
Here we are at the start:
Was doing really well... right up to the moment we left the road and landed on a pick-nick table.
So big hammer time at service:
Fortunately radiator, steering suspension all ok, so we continued, and finished:
Still managed 4th o/a in historics, possibly 3rd as there were protests at the end (not my car) with talk of the car 1st o/a being excluded, but due to the time we left before the prize giving.
