i am a bit gutted as my local group decided quite late that they were going to the ring this weekend and then on to Holland show.... BUT i was already booked up to go with the 16i Tour boys, Show only... Damn..

Was there when Dingy did his first lap at the Ring ... drivers comment after he returned after half an hour or so ... "bloody hell" .

Was awesome - car never missed a beat

Defo going back - no were in the UK is remotely close to the ring....

Car is ok - got 28mph off boost driving @ 90mph

Pulled 165 on the motorway through belguim for about 10 minutes - used half a tank of fuel that

On saturday did 3 laps - in the rain - 17 mins then 16 then another 16min lap.....scary that...

Drunk sat night - up at 8.00 sun morning for 2 more wet laps - then it started to dry so i waited an hour for the track to dry out....

did 4-5 dry laps, was getting faster and managed a 9.30ish lap...was just getting used to it and getting faster then it rained again...

Scary moment - fog dropped on far side of track, not only did you not know where the track was going you couldn't see it either - had a moment in the rain approching a bend at 100mph and not being able to see foook all.


Didn't get much footage as they were strict with camera but did a couple of laps.....

The track is amazing.....the whole village sit's in the middle of the track, everyone is so friendly - we even stayed in a bar on sunday night with 2 german tank commanders - like 7 foot, blonde blue eyes etc...we thought they were gonna kick off but managed to get em drunk.....they left in a mess - we stayed till 4.00am drinking and got 100€ of free booze from the landlady.....wasn#t nice driving @ 11.00 the next day home though....

The ring taxi you see for about 10 secs then its gone sideways past you....

The dodge vipers were fast too


saw a 1/2 million quid Carrera GT car - MY GOD!!!!! awesome...


I never lifted a spanner to mine all weekend - hammered the hell out of it and drove home
