Good show although I messed the first bit as the missus shouted my from the garage telling that there was a program on the TV about Mk1 ford escorts.
Only saw the car in the workshop.
If they got it for £8.5k and sold it for £23k then i'm guessing there is a small profit for the competent full time restorer.
I 've certainly seen a big rise in mk1/mk2 prices in the last 3 years.

The finished item was very nice despite a few flaws being pointed out by the more knowlegeble pundits
