Great to see the cars portrayed in such a positive way.
Very different to when I had my genuine steel arched Twincam in the mid 80's and it was frowned upon by the lotus cortina boys!

Much better than Top Gear . Even the Mexico resto was decent quality and turned out nice . Result .

Tick tock goes the clock and the clock don't lie .

Hmmmm, couldve been so much better. More of marks car being thrashed round the multi storey would have been a start LOL. Too much 'Harris' deep throating too

Really enjoyed it, restoration done well, unlike some of the other programs of late.

Thought it was generally very good, on the whole, just a few little points caught my eye.
You could see it was pretty rotten in the shed, should of kept the steels, and when finished ,was the bonnet catch and spring body colour??, im sure there was more, but still enjoyed it

                            Totally agree with this.

But once i ignored that part, really enjoyed it.

                              I really enjoyed it !

Suppose it has to appeal to the masses of course while keeping the classic car fans happy, program seemed to be well researched too. Must be a lot of ppl out there who wanted a Fast Ford but settled for a lesser model getting misty eyed watching the program.

I agree with this you Lee, think this started off with Classic Ford and esp. Retro Ford going on about the 'South London look' . But it does bring to light around the London and SE England area people who went racing done it on the 1/4 mile oval racing Hot Rods, not on the rally stages.

Over on the proper side of London, we had Burton,Terry Hoyle, CTM (who may of have a link back to Burton), and David Rowe. All done okay building Hot Rod engines at some point or another...

As a side note I have a David Rowe Blue Line Race Engines X/Flow head with big V/V's that I might drop off to CTM's workshop in Dagenham to get refurbished if its still serviceable. I got it for pretty much for free long after David had left and they was clearing the workshop due to demolition and basically said take whatever you want for £20 (Sadly I think there may have been a 2 BD engines that a nice Dutch man bought a couple of years before) !!! I bet that head will give a Harris head a run for its money
