  • Return to Mk2 ownership.

Hi, I was last on the forum about 4 years ago when I had to sell my RS2000 for various reasons. Yesterday I picked up a tidy 1.3 Ghia.
The car was pulled out of a barn last November where it had stood for 17years.
The chap I bought it off did a few daft jobs for the MOT and it passed.
As far as I can tell it has never been welded and I think all the panels are original. It's not perfect, and ideally could do with au respray. But it'll do for now.
Couple of pics of my old RS2000 which completed the lakes tour a couple of times and my new Ghia. The original wheels come with the car.

Would the front spots on the Ghia been an option from new or are they after market. How could I tell?

Spots were not a factory option on a Ghia!
