Is it worth joining guys?
Iam viewing a mk1 Mexico this weekend and I guess it would be nice to get on there, even at least to verify the car if it's on there etc etc.
But before I give up £35 to Join something you can't see, what are your opinions

Good idea to join if you become an owner. There are a lot of knowledgeable guys on here to give you an informed decision if you don't mind disclosing details of the car.

Before i bought my MK1 RS2000 I rejoined. I think it is cheeky to ask a club for info on a car if you are not a member.

I hear ya and I agree, I'm wondering mainly what's on there for 35 sovs a year, I've just sold my harrier and they have a dedicated forum and its very quiet. Not dissing Tony's site at all as he's very knowledgable and helpful however, if I'd given 35 to join I may have been a little disappointed............actually as I'm typing I'm realising that one single knowledgable answer regarding such cars could be invaluable so I guess it's worth it!

By joining you get access to the registrar for the model of car you're interested in, he can tell you if the car is registered with the club, and if there's any history of it being valued or inspected for a valuation etc.

Mogsmex is the registrar, once you've joined he will be able to help you.

By the way, YEB 288L is the mex I've got my beady eye on if anyone recognise it. I think it's been hidden away a while
