What wheels

I'm sorting my escort for the summer, but what wheels?
Currently is on standard 6x13 4 spokes. But I have a few different sets of other wheels.
I did have 7x15 image spilt rims on, but the offset is about 10mm too wide and will cause the tyre to catch the arch if anyone else is in the car. I could fit a narrower tyre 185/45 instead of the 195/45's or shorten the axle?



Or Capri 7 spoke 7x13' and pepper pots 7x13 ??
Or Comp CX' 7x13, but need a refurb.
Or buy a set of superlite reps.
Or try some 16" RS 7 spokes, may be a bit big looking in the arch?

Just my opinion but anything bigger than 13" diameter on a MK2 just looks wrong!

They just look so right on wheels that look like casters.

Not according to the designers at Ford! You must get the right tyres on it too though!

Take a look through the RS2 Gallery, see what options you have.
If you're hell bent on bigger than 13' then look for something with motorsport pedigree like Compomotive.

7 inch revolutions in my opinion the best wheels for a mk2, thats my old car the back wheels had 10mm taken off them to clear the arches. It had 185/60 tyres and rear discs and was lowered 2 inches, I would have another set in a minute.
