Kin'ell I'll pop down the road tomorrow and take some pics if I can find the battery for the camera if anyone wants (then I might need someone to post them for me). With the winds about to night anything left will be blown away...
Any other pictures people want of the decay in around the Dagenham Ford plant area? Its sort of like Detroit but more crap, but its home and I still have pride that most of my older family worked at that plant....
Glyn have you moved far away and did your dad like the motorbike you got him ?Steve

[QUOTE=Mogsmex;681019]about 10 or so miles, Now residing in Bowers Gifford, just sold the bike as it happens as my Dad never really got on with it you still got the XJR ?
Ah a up the road to you is a really good place that sells electronic ignition systems and some classic electrical parts and (maybe I should not say this) a great model Railway shop
Shame about the bike looked like fun to ride.
Sadly the XJR after 2/3 years and many gallons of unleaded, and after changing some of the font bushes, replacing the S/C flexi pipe and cleaning/recoating the leather it hit a lump of 2" round bar on the A13 right next to the Stanford-le-Hope service station and opened up the front passenger floor pan like a tin opener, I found the bar up in the rear of the car near the fuel tank gutted and angry about that I still ran it until the day the MOT was up though...
That was one of the best cars I've owned, thanks to your dad looking after it it got to somewhere just over 240K and never any used water or much oil, the A/C if the windows were opened I bet it would cooled the world down by a few deg. I took it to Cornwall and back a few time and it cost an average of £160 in fuel each trip, but more than offset by doing it in total utter comfort Hope your dad would not be angry with meSteve
