Read the definitive New Dacia Duster 2024 review from the expert What Car? team. Check specs, prices, performance and compare with similar cars.

I guess you get what you pay for Alan, I passed about 3 on the way to Broughton last week. I don't think I'd like to spend the amount of time that you do on the road in one of them. Money better spent on something used with a better spec.
Gone to the Dark Side but still lurking!

Apparently it won car of the year in Scotland, and also several recommendations from the caravan club, according to my local paper anyway. I'm not commenting on either caravanners nor Scots.

3 year warranty, and now a special offer upgrade of so called higher spec.

          Just saying is all.

Low NCAP overall yes, but got 4 stars for adult protection and 5 stars for kids protection. Autocar gave it four out of five overall, so it's not too bad really.

“The latest Dacia Duster has more character than ever, offering the same great value as before, with added practicality and style”

I do not own one, I do not work for Dacia, but truth is, it's not a bad car for the money.

2nd hand freelander 2, or a vw Tiguan would be better for your needs alan.

One of my drivers at work bought one, he's had it about 6 months now and is very pleased with it.
If you don't care about brand names, it's a good cheap car, brand new with dealer backing, compared to second-hand brand names with bugger all comeback for the same dosh.
Not my cup of tea, but you can't knock the price for brand new.

Yup mate of mine has had his 15dci 4x4 Duster nearly a year now loves it...
Driven it myself and to be honest its absolutely fine.
Ok not a "cool" car but great for the hilly/dirty bits round here and he paid extra for a 5 year warranty.

                        I like them
