Why did you sell the stunning mk1 4 door you had.. Did that tick all the boxes except the amount of doors??

Cos I wanted a MK2 to arch up ..

I see the point that 2 doors can be made to look like the RS marque but never the less I see some very nice more door out there.

Also I have seen some 4 door RS 2000s or are they just reps ??

If it wasnt for the success in rallying the interest and longevity of the Escort would be a very different story.

What you use it for today is up to self preference.

Just wonder how many working class makes of car can demand such a following from the late 60s and 70s. I guess most have rusted away. Whether its crashed, burned or rusted, they all go the same way. So just enjoy the time.

No there not reps, built for the oz market, still loads here

I like four doors, ghia, sport etc... But as a comp car it'll always be 2

Where have you been hiding? There were 4?? mk1 Mexico's in 4 door trim for use with the police. Plenty of info on here about them.

There was never a 4 door mk2 Mexico. All were 2 door & all were rhd
