As above , first a happy birthday for yesterday to *old steve* And then onto the thanks for allowing me to be the new custodian ( do we ever really own them or do they own us ?) of his 1986 ford escort series one turbo , it was grueling being interviewed by lewis but luckily i passed and was able to collect today , again its not gone tooo far and you are always welcome to visit , THANKS AGAIN .jim

No problem Jim, at least it will get used and will still see it at shows, av not used it much since i got mk1 & 2s. Lewis is happy now as we have his fiesta in garage and can start working on it

Update

Well after looking for a replacement for my rear ended rs1600i i went to view steve s17yde ,s mk 2 escort sport , head was not in a good place and took the easy option and bought his s1 , roll on 10 months and never one to let things get the better of me saved up and now i have 2 cars ( hope lewis nips on with some pics ) the s1 well i have done a few small jobs and thats it but this sport well time will tell , half a mind to sort the odd bits out and run it for the summer then decide , cheers steve and lewis for puttin up with me umming and arring over what to do , jim
