From what i've heard it's not on the road and hasn't been in years, it's in storage part way through restoration. As mentioned it didn't use its correct plate as on screen it was a T reg but the actual car is an R reg.

Good call on the photo shoot Practical Classics is a great mag, the best car one out there imo.

This is a Tribute to Lewis Collins and they wanted to get together the 5 types of cars from The Professional TV Series. It is not to replicate the show, just to bring back memories of the cars and the series as well as pay a tribute to Lewis.

So long as the RS2000 is White the magazine was happy and also the same for the TR7, Dolomite Sprint, Ford Capri 3.0 and Ford Granada Ghia, they didn't need to be the original cars just the same colours.

We should be happy that one of our own has been asked to use his car rather than knocking him down and asking for the 'Original' car.

Also the plates used by the Original cars don't even exist as they were made up for the programme series. They were later put onto different registration marks.
Who's knocking anyone??? I just asked an obvious question which has been answered

That looks like your suggesting that they use a different car rather than Jason's by the above remarks

Maybe not knocking, but certainly questioning that LAR is being used
                          Cheers

Compared to using the real car yes I was.. Lar is stunning and as you know chesneys a good mate of mine.. But lar wasn't confirmed as doing it before I made my initial comment or was the status of the original car from the show..
So I don't think I'm knocking anything to be honest, just voicing my opinion Martin..

Sorry for any confusion or upset caused
