yes they make millions but they dont really sell them as you cant own them you are paying dvla a rent for you to display them on your car or to have them on retention very clever really as they can never loose or be ripped offOriginally posted by Martin View PostSurely this wouldn't happen without compensation to plate owners.

Which does come as a shock to folk who have a private plate, then illegally space it out to read something that takes a genius to work out.
