Very sad to hear this morning that Wet and Windy (Iain) passed away after a long fight. Thoughts are with his Family and Friends.

At my horses stables today we had a Macmillan coffee morning a day later than the main one cause most people are at work. Motivated by Iain's untimely death and hearing the stories of his family's bravery, I baked 3 cakes to take along and made a posh Queen Victoria Sponge in his memory from this site as it seemed like a nice thing to do (hope no one minds).....

So well done we all !!! We made a cake that was demolished in minutes and a total success. Whipping cream with a massive hangover is the work of the devil

Along with the other bakers and eaters we raised £176 and with gift aid that will be over £200 towards helping Macmillan provide care and support for cancer suffers in the UK along their families.
