Very good ...... the man's a god ....... all the family watched it and remembered the Rothmans cars with cries of "good god" at the drop on the left of the track as Ari went up Pikes Peak

Don't know the bloke but one phase springs to mind....... Ambition v's Ability! He had lots of the former and not enough of the latter!
Being proud of being a 'thrash about' XR2 owner and driving to school in a Mini at 14 speaks volumes. Jumping into various cars and expecting to go fast immediately - he just didn't get it! The Trials bike thing was a laugh - how many bike run-aways? And in the final drive - check out the gear indicator and how high the speedo needle goes ! ! ! TV can make things look faster than reality.
He's a lucky guy and got a lot of opportunities via his name rather than ability but would have preferred a bit more humble approach!
