I worked at Milford Motors, Milford on Sea, during my apprenticeship in the late '80s.
There was a stunning black RS2000 Custom on a 'W' plate that was owned by a panel worker up the road at the Bodyworks. His wife used to drive it most of the time. He always said he would never sell it.
I distinctly remember the paint having a really deep, almost mirror shine. The seat were covered in sheepskin style (very '80s!) beige covers.
Do any of the Dorset / Hants members out there know of the car then or now or its owner? I am intrigued to know if it is still around. It was a fine example that inspired me to buy my red Custom at the ripe old age of 18 !
