Are you referring to Suarez at Liverpool going on to 200 K a week in the "last four" years of his new contract?

Al it's an old argument that'll never go away... He gets what he gets, and if the club didn't pay it someone else would

Is this why England's national team is so poor, and fail to produce any results ??
Unless the bank balance is involved. Footballers wages should be capped at a reasonable level.

English footballers pay 40 and 50% tax

If they move to Spain as Gareth Bale did they pay reduced tax and earn even more money

While Sky keep funding football and we keep paying Sky to watch the games these wages will not be reduced in the near future
            Cheers

Correct Rob, Sky games are massive in the Far East and USA which is where they get most of their revenue from now
                      Cheers

Best of luck to the guy , as a bad leg break and he could be finished forever.

No tax if you play for ASMFC (and live there).

A bad bone break could effect anyone with a manual job.

How ever the football is funded, do they honestly earn the money they claim to.

Our national team is a disgrace, considering we have the best league in the world. You would think we would be the envy of the rest, but we are not,
