  • ACN went to new home today

After a few timewasters and no-showers (1 was genuine as had family bereavement) car sold today to a genuine guy that sure will look after her

Sure will pop back to forum to keep in touch with the Escort world and probably bring the TVR (when i get one) to the Lakes show to enjoy some great mk1's and 2's and maybe meet up with ACN again.

    Peter.

TVR's are cool but built by 3 year olds with a socket set and a mastic gun so be carefull , lol .
Tuscan has good bits on it (that fall off) and is a proper sunday morning hot rod .
sigpic 2.1 ATMO YB POWER .
Tick tock goes the clock and the clock don't lie .
12.4sec to 109mph With NO turbo , NO gay trailer , NO slicks , NO gas , NO race fuel and NO bits missing . Beat that !!!!

Have spoken to a few owners and all think the cars get unfair press, sure with any hand built cars some will be done better (depends if bob the dedicated guy on shift in good mood or not?)
Can't beat the drama of them for the money I think, something I will take out for a blast just for the hell of it!

Think Tuscans look awsome but issues with speed 6 would always worry me, good old rover derived v8 sounds better and much more owner enthusiast friendly to look after which is part of the pleasure for me.so late model Chimaera looks the one.

My friend went from a 3dr cossie (had RS's for 25+ years) to a tvr chimera and he's love it. As long as they have been looked after they are superb cars

I'd get a cheap blown up Tuscan and fit an Ls7 and Tremec TKO gearbox . Would be great fun then .
