  • The sunroof debate ????

What is the thing with sun roofs , I can understand it's no good for a Rallye car but for a road car what's the problem?

In the 80s we all wanted a sun roof in our escorts what's changed now , or is it we all think it's the right opinion to have to be in the click ?

    Opinions please.

Funny enough mine was sold with a webasto originally and then later had a sun roof fitted . Would like to put a webasto back in, but gotta find one first.

Better off with a glass sunroof than a hole the size of the whole roof covered with a piece of poxy vinyl
        Webastos are shite son

Would you fit one to an Escort now??..probably not !!..
along with audioline graphic equalizers, louvred window grills and mudflaps they have no place on an Escort.

in the 80s we might of had some sun, now not much point as most times it rains, if i had a great big hole in the roof, a roll gage would be a must , if you drive your car how they were meant too theres a chance you might turn over,

Ideally no sunroof, but if it has to have one then a Glass one for me.

I would walk away from a car with a Webasto fitted no matter what it's mileage/history

                  But that's my personal preference
                  Cheers
