Thats why he spent 30 years in prison but people do have short memories or dont know the big picture. He achieved a lot but his method wasnt conventional.

Conventional!!!!!!!!, Epic description of killing innocents through bombing, burning tyres around necks, killing thousands from different tribes in order to rig your own vote. He then spent a long time in prison, I agree, but never gave up leadership of the ANC.

When he met the IRA and discussed the peace talks they themselves were going through, allegedly stated that you never hand over your weapons until you get what you want. Bloke was even allowed into the US without a special visa until early 2000 as he was still in their eyes a terrorist.
