70mph gusts in South Cumbria, trees down all over the place and floods with winds and high tide ****tail. Glad I live on top of a hill.

M6 at Brum and Thirwall Viaduct closed both ways due to lorries blowing over

Witnessed a lorry shunt a car up the back of another HGV M6 Junc 15 ,,looking at the car it must have been a fatality

Shite journey home but made it in one peice

Don't slow some drivers down though, been out on the road all day , absolute madness the way some drivers Inc hgv drivers were carrying on today, and I am an hgv driver too, don't drive a high truck but always at 44 ton, and the wind was blowing me about,
Yet high trucks probably running light , hammering on with no concern,, that's why they end up blown over ,like the ones I have seen on the A1 today!
Live to regret ..or regret to live.

Been round the A1 - M18 ring today

One lorry on its side , the other jack knifed

A one hour journey took 3 hours

I hope both drivers were pulled out safe and well
