  • £400,000 worth of MKI and MKII RS Escorts For Sale

I have altered slightly the format within the Cars For Sale Section - MKI and MKII RS Escorts only

This is now to show the "asking price" in the Main Title of each ad

A quick total of the 2013 adverts is close to £400,000 on 27 adverts

Be interesting if sellers admitted to prices they finally sold at, compared to original "asking price" !

I still say the right car sells for the right money !!!

Yes it would be useful to any buyers to know how much they actually sold for. Any car is only worth what the public are prepared to pay for it and no more!

That is how every advert for selling a car should be ...I hope it spreads to other sites.

                        Great idea

there is nothing worse than an advert for sale with no price / location and a contact number

The 3 basic things everyone wants to know if they are interested

No you didnt , it sold

there are some old school cars for sale ( and will be for sale for a long time ) with some very high values placed on them by the owners

If a car is priced correct it will sell , if it isnt it wont

Where on earth some folk get there asking prices from is beyond me

Then at the time Gaz you obviously priced it right

You put £17k and to be fair you would have "added" a bit of bargaining value within your asking price so if offered £16,500 you would have accepted £16,500

The buyer felt £17k was a fair price so paid it

Therefore you gauged the market correctly

Its no good saying it was too cheap as if you had avertised it at £18k would it have sold ? - WHO KNOWS ? and we will never know !

Actually it was job well done
